morning sun, in short.

morning sun is a perfume body oil brand from california. it's formulated without phthalates, parabens, or known endocrine disruptors, and its fragrance, a private blend from our fragrance house, is made with 98%+ natural ingredients. drop 01, the coastal collection, launches in november 2026 with two scents: salted skin and honey hour.

the founder

founder paige grew up on the beach in california. after she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, pcos and mast cell activation syndrome, she started reading every label in her bathroom. nearly every scented product she owned listed only one word, "fragrance," which u.s. law lets brands use without saying what's inside. she spent sixteen months with a natural perfumer and a formulator to make the bottle she couldn't find. read her story →

story angles

  • a founder with pcos, hypothyroidism and mcas built the perfume she couldn't find, formulated without known endocrine disruptors.
  • the one-word loophole: what "fragrance" can hide on a u.s. label, and a founder who makes specific promises about hers.
  • perfume oil vs. spray: why body oils are the quiet way to wear scent.
  • a clean holiday gift for the person who reads every label.
